SALEM, Ore. - Jan. 6, 2021 - As of the 1st of January, 2021, there are new rules in regards to broker advertising. Real Estate Agency Chapter 863, Division 15 Real Estate Broker Regulation, Subsection on Advertising (863-015-0125) has had its regulations changed. One big change is that - by regulation - licensees are no longer required to get approval for their advertisements from their principal broker. As a result, it is the individual agent that is ultimately responsible for their own advertisements - including the punishments for failing to adhere to the rules. Still, we will work advertisements through our respective team leaders until the ramifications of these changes are fully realized.

New Agents:

Kelly Kerckhof is coming over to Sundance Realty from Murray Brown Real Estate. She was looking for a new brokerage, and found that one of our primary principal brokers, Toni Keener, was very personable and knowledgeable. She felt the office atmosphere was inviting and down to earth. She will operate primarily out of the Willamette Valley area where she enjoys working with clients who are in need of a new home.

Ian Griffin is also coming over from Murray Brown Real Estate. He was looking for the opportunity to work with an exciting yet well established brokerage and the new challenges that come along with that and a new year and market conditions. He comes with six years of real estate experience and focuses primarily on residential single family homes and investment properties. He will also be working throughout the Willamette Valley area.
