Fennemore Elects Four New Directors

PHOENIX - Dec. 9, 2020 - Today, Fennemore, a leading law firm in the American west, announced that its shareholders elected four new directors, the firm's equivalent of "partners" at other firms. The new directors are Katie Callaway, Derek Pfaff, Susan Stone Rosenfield, and Emily Ward.

"After a year like no other, I'm proud to say that the future of the firm looks brighter than ever, and it's in part because of the talent and dedication of these four legal stars," noted Fennemore CEO, James Goodnow. "I always say that it's our people that make Fennemore so special, and these individuals represent the firm's best and brightest, guiding our clients amidst one of the most challenging business landscapes in history."

Katie Callaway works in the firm's Trusts & Estates practice group. Her work focuses primarily in the areas of estate planning, private client and wealth preservation, estate and trust administration, probate, guardianship and conservatorship, revocable trusts, power of attorney, and gift and estate tax matters.

Derek Pfaff serves in the firm's real estate practice area, working on matters such as shopping center development, commercial leasing and financing. He also works on renewable energy projects, specifically solar and wind, including site acquisition and leasing.

Susan Stone Rosenfield is a registered patent attorney in the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. She advises clients in diverse areas, including adoption, defense and enforcement of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret rights.

Emily Ward is a business litigator working on high-stakes cases for plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the country. She has worked on a wide range of matters, including constitutional issues, multilevel marketing, landfill and solid waste management and commercial real estate.
