GREEN BAY, Wis. - Oct. 12, 2020 - Author Kevin J. Smith likes to believe there is good in everyone, regardless of their circumstances or current place in life. Sometimes it just takes a little prodding to encourage the bright side to make its appearance.
Smith and writing partner Laura Sherman have released the first in the Discovering Kindness series of short stories illustrating this point with The Taco Man (M&B Global Solutions Inc.).
The entire Discovering Kindness series will be available in paperback and digital formats later this year.
The Taco Man description
Felipe Alvarez faced his share of challenges growing up in Mexico City, where drug cartels ruled the streets and simply surviving was an accomplishment. He was determined to make a better life for himself. Fortunately for Felipe, the generosity and compassion of a local taco vendor made his American Dream more than a far-flung fantasy. Perhaps Felipe saw some of himself in Gabriel, but would the French teen open his heart and allow his new mentor to pay it forward?
The Taco Man is available through October 15, 2020, as a free digital download on Amazon. https://amzn.to/2FkT7YL
