Rock and Roll San Diego Sponsors Autism Society San Diego's Autism's Got Talent Fundraiser

SAN DIEGO - Sept. 21, 2020 - Rock and Roll San Diego announced today its major sponsorship of the Autism Society San Diego's upcoming fundraiser, Autism's Got Talent. The sponsorship reiterates Rock and Roll San Diego's ongoing commitment to support the music industry along with an artistic lifestyle for children and adults on the autism spectrum.

The event is looking to highlight a variety of performers and will help showcase talent of any kind. This inaugural online talent competition and fundraiser is open to anyone living in San Diego County with a diagnosis of the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

"With Kodi Lee winning America's Got Talent last year and bringing more of an awareness of the talents of individuals with autism, we felt the need and importance to communicate and share the talents of these gifted individuals," said Shannon Woods, general manager, Rock and Roll San Diego. "In sponsoring the inaugural Autism's Got Talent by providing the event with a venue and broadcast quality livestreaming capabilities, we can help these entertainers reach a wider audience and showcase their talents worldwide in the high quality fashion they deserve.

The registration period for the event started on Saturday, September 12, 2020 and closes on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. PST.

The voting period starts the top twelve (12) talent submissions during Round 1 on October 1st and ends on October 5th. Round 2 starts on October 8th where the top six (6) will perform their acts live, in-studio at the Hendrix Hall of Rock and Roll San Diego.
