SAN FRANCISCO - Aug. 18, 2020 -Earlier this month Gumroad made a huge splash with their social media rollout announcing the winners of the grants for Small Black-Owned Businesses. Last month, Gumroad made the announcement of this grant and within two weeks, there were over 700 applications. As the tech leader would like to support all of the applicants, they decided that everyone who applied for the grant will be upgraded to a Creator account for one year; so ultimately everyone is able to emerge as a winner.

As we wish we could support all, we do hope that gifting everyone who applied with a Creator's account will continue to inspire them to create more" states Gumroad Founder, Sahil Lavingia
The 10 Black creators that were identified come from various industries. Gumroad is a platform that welcomes all industries as there are creators everywhere that long to be seen, heard, and provide value. The winners are as follows:
