Family and friends from all around the United States gathered at this lovely estate to watch Josie and Matt be wed and celebrate with them in a lovely, whimsical wedding reception immediately following the ceremony.
Matt proposed to Josie in 2017 on Panama City Beach in Panama City, Florida. Matt created a beautiful setting of letters across the waterline in the sand asking, "Will You Marry Me?" Onlookers watched and helicopters flew overhead as matt got down on one knee and surprised Josie with his proposal. Josie's parents Tinamarie and Vito Passantino proudly watched this incredible love story unfold. Their proposal was enjoyed by family, friends, fans, and listeners that love this couple on Facebook Live. This music industry couple's engagement was shared by Florida television, print, and social media as well as print media in both of their hometowns.
Josie Passantino, now Josie Passantino-Boone met Matt Boone when his music was sent into her radio station by a music promoter for airplay consideration in 2015. Josie was immediately taken by his incredible vocals and scheduled him for an interview on her radio talk show, The Josie Show. The interview went well, and his music continued to be sent into the station and played in high rotation due to its popularity with the station listeners. Matt Boone found himself nominated in the Josie Music Awards inaugural event by the industry panel. Matt and Josie came face to face for the first time when he won the Song of the Year category for his song, "Every Other Sunday" in Traditional Country. Josie was the presenter of that award category. They met again face to face a year later in 2016 on the Red Carpet at the Josie Music Awards Event and it has been a magical love ever since. As many in the industry submit to be considered for a nomination and to win the coveted, "Josie" award. Many jokes with the couple that Matt has won the heart of the actual, "Josie".
