TRENIQUES: Be Yourself: Kyree Moore

NEW YORK - July 12, 2020 - Model, photographer, creative director, and CEO of Rebel Royal Productions (https://www.instagram.com/rebel_royal/?hl=en), Kyree Moore (https://www.instagram.com/rebel_royal/) was featured on Find Your ID NYC (https://fyidnyc.com/)'s weekly Facebook Live series, Treniques. During the show, Moore described his tips, tricks, and experience as a model and photographer. Along with this, Moore taught viewers how to best prepare for a photoshoot including how-to best on the concept of the shoot.

Treniques is a weekly Facebook Live series that showcases creative artists and their talents. Each week's featured guest gives a tutorial via Facebook Live and teaches the public tricks and tips on their respective profession. Moore pushes the collaboration with others such as makeup artists and designers and believes that team collaboration provides the greatest outcome during a shoot.

"What makes you feminine is what you identify as. I don't identify as masculine or feminine and I'm just fine as myself." Moore describes his portfolio and details his desire to include bits of masculinity and femininity without having to choose sides.

As the world tried to adapt to the pandemic and the lockdown, Moore tried so too. From being an avid advocate for outdoor photoshoots and using natural light, Moore had to suddenly change his style. "I had to work on taking the knowledge from shooting outside, for three to four years, to creating [indoor] studio work." And it was different, but Moore views this as an opportunity for growth and expansion.

For Kyree Moore, there's no holding back and the latest episode of Find Your ID NYC's Treniques showed just that. On the topic of feeling discriminated against as a Black model, Moore sought the opportunity to raise awareness. He sees the discrimination and he feels it. All Moore wants is for "everything to be balanced. And it's asking for a lot for representation because, for a time, it wasn't even allowed." Moore is still fighting to get noticed and to be recognized as a talent rather than being labeled by the color of his skin.
