Entrance into the SBA's 8(a) business development program was granted after JMA completed a rigorous application process to ensure that it met the standards for entering this coveted program.

The 8(a) certification has a nine-year lifespan and allows participants to pursue sole-source federal and state government contracts and set aside contracts allocated to 8(a) certified companies.
