Lazarus Care Limited, a medical technology business specialising in ostomy care and devices, today announced the conclusion of a multi-year licensing agreement with a British healthcare and life science company, Cube Life Science Limited.


Cube Life Science will exclusively market and distribute the current Lazarus Ostomy Device and Lazarus Care solutions in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Lazarus Care expects the partnership to deliver orders in excess of 15k units from a growing sales pipeline over the next 18 months. The five-year contract commences in September 2020.



This would coincide with the launch of a set of new complementary products to the existing ostomy device in Q1 2021. The new product range will continue to provide real health, quality of life and health economic benefits to ostomates, in particular reducing the volume of ostomy appliances and supplies needed by an ostomy patient on a daily basis. Acting Group MD, François van Schalkwyk said:


“Despite the current economic climate, commercial prospects are promising and there are many indications that the ostomy appliances and supplies market is ready for change. Our products and services make an enormous difference in the quality of the lives of our users, we expect this fact to drive sales and product adoption rates in Q4.”


Lazarus Care’s momentum has remained unaffected by the global spread of COVID-19 as many ostomates, like many, are homebound. The Lazarus device operates best when installed in the comfort of the user's home.

Why would a patient get a Stoma?
