FLORESVILLE, Texas - April 10, 2020 - Your Safety Department, LLC is pleased to announce that we have been approved to deliver PEC SAFELAND, PEC H2S CLEAR and PEC BASIC PIPELINE in an Instructor Led Distance Learning Format during the current emergency pandemic and in response to social distancing guidelines related to COVID19.
The PEC Basic Orientation / SafeLand USA safety awareness course is designed to take the place of multiple Operator orientations and to give each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream onshore. This one-day program meets OSHA, and almost all Major and Mid-Major Operators in and outside of the USA, requirements and provides a basic understanding at an awareness level of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties.
PEC H2S Clear is the most comprehensive training program available on the deadly threat of hydrogen sulfide across the country and was developed to improve employee safety for general industry workers. The program has become the preferred H2S training program of multiple owner clients and operators for adoption by their employees and contract workers to be eligible to come on-site.
PEC Basic Pipeline is an introductory orientation course that covers both Safeland requirements and Pipeline specific hazards and mitigation. This course covers awareness level safety information in order to ensure standardized basic safety principles across all levels of pipeline
