MENLO PARK, Calif. - March 30, 2020 - Bespoken Spirits, a Silicon Valley beverage tech company that uses proprietary technology to accelerate the maturation and tailor the color, aroma, and taste of premium spirits, today announced that its inaugural spirits captured two Gold Medals, two Silver Medals and four Bronze Medals at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). This recognition is testament to the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of the company's premium spirits and brings the total award count to 11 since its debut just six months ago.
SFWSC is the largest international spirits competition in the United States attracting nearly 3,000 entries from around the world. Judging is blind and done by a seasoned panel of nationally recognized spirits judges, each selected for their distinct and trusted palate. With two decades of experience, the SFWSC has become one of the most respected competitions in the world.
The company took top honors across multiple spirits categories. About half of its entries started out with pre-aged spirits (weeks to years) from the barrel before undergoing Bespoken Spirits' proprietary spirits maturation process that transformed them into award-winning spirits. The entry categories included: Straight Bourbon-min. 2 years; Small Batch Bourbon-up to 5 years; Other Whiskey; Rye Whiskey; and, Dark/Gold Rum.
