Morley Hayes launches new take-away and delivery service

DERBY, U.K. - March 19, 2020 - Hotel, golf and leisure complex, Morley Hayes, has taken steps to ensure it can continue to serve its local communities during the current coronavirus pandemic with the launch of a new takeaway and delivery service.

Although its Dovecote restaurant, Roosters and Spike bars remain open for business, owners Andrew and Robert Allsop have decided to launch the new services for customers who prefer to eat at home, including the over 70s and those in at risk groups who are currently following the government's self-isolation guidelines.

The takeaway service launches on Thursday 19 March and will feature a selection of hot and cold dishes from the classic Roosters Bar and Restaurant menu. Meals can be ordered and collected from 12 noon to 9.00pm on 01332 780480.

The delivery service will be available from Monday 23 March and will be free of charge to those who live within a five-mile radius of the complex on Main Road in Morley, with a minimum spend of £20. Deliveries are available between 12 noon and 8.00pm, again by calling 01332 780480.

Commenting on the launch of the new takeaway and delivery service, Andrew Allsop, managing director of Morley Hayes, said:

"It's an uncertain time for everyone at the moment. Whilst we remain open for business, we appreciate there will be large numbers of our regular customers who have been advised to self-isolate for an extended period of time and we want to do everything we can to help.

"The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff remains our number one priority. All team members are following the latest Government, Public Health England (PHE) and World Health Organisation (WHO) advice and are maintaining the highest standards of hygiene across all our facilities.

"We have introduced greater space between tables and have hand sanitiser stations in place at all entrances to the Morley Hayes complex. All staff and customers will be expected to utilise these on entering and leaving the building.

"I would urge customers to continue to support local businesses and look after the most vulnerable in our communities during this difficult time."

Situated in the heart of the stunning Derbyshire countryside overlooking parkland golf courses, Morley Hayes boasts a luxury four star, 32-bedroom hotel and a choice of three restaurants, including the award-winning two AA rosette Dovecote restaurant, Roosters and Spike Bar.

Golf facilities include a championship 18-hole Manor course, 9-hole Tower course, a newly refurbished 17 bay, all weather floodlit driving range, golf pavilion, new Tower Café and a highly respected Golf Academy.
