March 17, 2020 - RenewSys - the 1st integrated manufacturer of Solar PV Modules and its key components, Encapsulants, Backsheets and Solar PV Cells - announces the promotion of Mr. Nandkumar Pai as CEO – PV Cells & Modules with effect from April 1, 2020.
A power industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in diverse sectors like Oil and Gas, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Renewables, he has been leading Sales and Marketing at RenewSys.
Mr. Pai is a Mechanical Engineer and has completed international management development programs from IMD, Lausanne (Switzerland); Cranfield, UK; Hanken, Helsinki (Finland).
A hands-on leader, he works closely with the sales, marketing, production, and technical teams at RenewSys to lend balance and address the challenges that crop up in a rapidly changing solar industry.
Prior to RenewSys, he has worked with Wärtsilä India Pvt. Ltd. and GMMCO, a C.K. Birla company, in varied leadership roles including Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer. He has also published technical and industry papers.
As a company with a swiftly expanding global footprint, RenewSys will continue to be led by the Global CEO & Managing Director, Mr. Avinash Hiranandani, who will sharpen his focus on strengthening international business. This is in keeping with a strategy to make innovation-led, quality PV products available to the growing global markets.
