Team Melo Preparing for 2020 Peach Jam Run

BALTIMORE - Jan. 24, 2020 - Team Melo plans to make a lot of noise this EYBL season at the 15u level with the addition of several D1 caliber players. With the amount of top notch talent in the Nike EYBL this is would be quite the feat. Having operated under the radar and off the grid in the off season; the names that have been shared by an anonymous source with knowledge of the program boast a undeniable plethora of talent. The group has a combination of size, skill and athleticism that will rival any team in the country. Yet, there is a lot more that goes into having a successful season than just "talent" on the toughest proving grounds in the world.

Whereas there may not be many teams with Melo's new and improved roster that can beat them in a 7-games series, in the EYBL the reality is that anyone can get beat in a single game on a given night. The varsity level and big game experience of the players on this roster will boaster their cause and will allow Melo to raise their play to a level that will allow them to simply win and advance.

The key for the 2020 15U version is simple; they have to want to be coached and they have to buy into the culture of family first, structure and discipline and teamwork in order to reach their lofty goals. By holding each other accountable and making not only the right play but making your teammate better will add to a bond that is already strong; forged in workouts that have been going on behind closed doors for several months.

From all reports these are not only great kids and players but they have a feel for each other that is going to make them a tough out for anyone they face this upcoming season. In the EYBL, wins equal scholarships; so we anticipate providing some exciting updates as the season progresses.
