Join the National Initiative to Get Organized

ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Jan. 17, 2020 - The phrase 'Get Organized' is in the top ten most Googled phrases at the start of the year. By the end of January many people will have given up on their resolution for more order. To help inspire families, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) is hosting GO Month2020 (Get Organized). Northwest Iowa Organizer, Michelle Kuiken with The Proper Place, and NAPO, are bringing GO Month to the region by providing resources and tips to help the community maintain resolutions and have less clutter, in January and throughout the entire year.

When homes are disorganized, family members can feel overwhelmed and frustrated, creating tension in the household. Kuiken offers time saving tips and resources to reduce that stress and provides step-by-step information and tools to get it done. One of the tools Kuiken is offering in conjunction with GO Month is her new workbook, Organizing with Intention. This workbook is a step-by-step guide to transform the way homes and lives are organized. "As I work in homes across the region, I see that the hardest part to getting organized is knowing how to get started. The second hardest part is maintaining the work." says Kuiken. "This workbook provides a unique approach to conquer an organizing project on your own and maintain the space going forward."

Kuiken also states, "Today's modern women are balancing many roles and their need for organization is essential to a healthy lifestyle." The start to a new year and the GO Month initiatives can help women take control, improve productivity, and find more space for belongings. Kuiken encourages, "The most important result of getting organized and keeping your resolution this year, is finding more space for you."
