IRVINE, Calif. - Dec. 17, 2019 - MBK Senior Living (MSL), an industry leader in senior living has named Michael Bardelmeier Senior Vice President of Operations. Bardelmeier will oversee the company's 32 independent, assisted living and memory care communities located throughout the Western United States.

Bardelmeier joins MBK Senior Living from Meridian where he served as the West Coast Divisional Vice President of Operations, and managed nearly 30 senior living communities. Bardelmeier began his career in the senior living industry in 2009 with Holiday Retirement where he held a Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations, West Division positions. Prior to his senior living operations experience, Bardelmeier worked in the development and management of multi-family properties throughout the United States.
"Michael brings extensive experience in operational leadership, capital, and operational budget management and in cultivating a culture of teamwork, continuous quality improvement, and accountability," added Fischer.

In addition to his career experience, Bardelmeier serves on the Workforce Development Committee for the California Assisted Living Association (CALA). The goal of the committee is to develop pathways for young professionals in the senior living industry and attract new employees to the workforce.
