VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 23, 2019 - Sadé Awele continues to enthral audiences with her soulful character as she premieres her latest music video for single "Apple Pie." The Vancouver based artist infuses her song with endearing imagery that evokes feelings of love and warmth, just in time for the holidays!
Directed by Sabine Kahwaji, the visuals paired perfectly to the smooth R&B aesthetic. "Apple Pie" enterprises shots of Awele singing while being on a dream-like date inside an amusement area with friends. The quick and smooth shots add to the romantic yet fun mood of each scene and support the lyrics and Sadé's soulful vocals.
The song was written during a jam session with producer Matthew Young, and shortly after Sadé was inspired to perform it at the Root Dweller's showcase to get a fan base feel for the song. As the track developed into new iterations of production, Apple Pie quickly became a fan favourite. Her most recent work includes a series of singles, including "Count on Me", "Nigerian Born", "Dreams", "Apple Pie", available on all music platforms. Each of her singles has an accompanying music video on Youtube.
