ATLANTA - Nov. 14, 2019 - The RSG Agency just made yet another strategic move on the artist development and marketing front. Based in Atlanta, the company serves as an in-house data-driven marketing and artist development agency. This past October, RSG Agency CEO, Dasha Ware, secured a deal with songwriting and production team, The Lab Rats Ink. The cohort of songwriters and producers led by super producers and writers, Mykel T. Brooks and Bakari Vashon, while based in Atlanta, have extended members in Germany, Florida, Nashville, North and South Carolina and more. Also, included on their roster is Grammy-nominated producer Zell. Zell is responsible for The Lab Rats being placed with El Debarge, 50 Cent, Young Money, Yung Berg, Fabolous, and Shawty Redd. The Lab Rats also have credits with TK Kravitz, Go Grizzly, Nivea, Trey Songz, K Michelle, Elijah Blake, George Clinton and everyone in between.
In October, The Lab Rats appointed RSG's Ware as their agent and Chief Marketing Officer. She will be charged with getting their songs placed and overseeing their brand development - a smart move on their part as she has a knack for building labels, brands, and artists. For the past several years she oversaw Rap Snack's digital strategy as it moved from Atlanta's local market to a global marketing strategy and launch in 1000+ stores, including Walmart's nationwide. Dasha Ware and RSG's name hold weight as it relates to up and coming indie artists in the Atlanta area, making The Lab Rats' recent move to the area a more seamless shift into this new market as it relates to building a talent pool.
The partnership with the Lab Rats comes certainly as a mutual benefit for RSG as well. RSG previously announced a partnership with Georgia State's NCEG (National Collegiate Entertainment Group) - a college-backed organization with all the musical support its members need. The organization is tapped in both locally and nationally with the hottest concerts, showcases, festivals, industry panels and more. And now, RSG's Ware has come in to foster dialogue and teach RSG's data-driven approaches to help the student-artists create real, measurable success. With her recruitment of Mykel T. Brooks, Bakari Vashon, and the rest of the Lab Rats, RSG is strengthening its resources for its talent pipeline, creating a hub for everything an artist to launch a successful, multifaceted career.
