TC Brew Fest Benefits Nonprofits that Support the Treasure Coast

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Oct. 29, 2019 -In its twelfth year, the Treasure Coast Brew Fest is the longest running beer fest on the Treasure Coast and is on the cusp of reaching $100,000 in total donations to local nonprofits. This year's benefiting nonprofits are Operation 300, Angler Action Foundation and Molly's House.

Operation 300 provides mentorship to the children of the fallen in military combat through camps and events hosted in Martin County; Angler Action Foundation represents recreational anglers and works to protect marine habitats; and Molly's House helps families stay together during a medical crisis when they don't have or can't afford local lodging.

"We love participating in the TC Brew Fest," said Tara Baldwin, founder of Operation 300. "It gives us the chance to represent our organization to the community in a very unique way. Additionally, the funds that are given to Operation 300 through this event go directly to help fund our November adventure camp for kids and retreat for military widows."

"Last year was our first year being involved," said Mike Readling, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Angler Action Foundation. "The ability to get in front of a new group of people that you may not typically speak to is huge. One of the main goals of the Angler Action Foundation is to protect, preserve and, where possible, replace marine habitats. We are currently in the middle of a 20-acre seagrass planting project in the Caloosahatchee River, which is going tremendously well. We hope to duplicate that here in the Indian River soon."

Bill West, CEO of Molly's House said, "TC Brew Fest provides an opportunity to share our story of providing shelter, serenity, and support to families for 24 years in Stuart, FL. Patients facing the toughest battle of their lives benefit immensely from a loved one's hug, the sound of their voice or touch of their hand. We help keep these families together."

"This event can give because of our generous beer distributors and sponsors," said John Beard, President of the Treasure Coast Brewmasters Charitable Foundation. "Our beer distributors are JJ Taylor, Southern Eagle, and Brown Distributing, and our sponsors include MBA Productions Corp., MidFlorida Credit Union, Bourgeois Real Estate Group, Verb Media, Vine and Barley Stuart, HopCat Port St. Lucie, UBU Brands, Coast 101.3, Castaways Gastropub, Maronda Homes, Tavola Pizza, Pirate Radio, N2 Architecture and Design, The Crafted Keg, Marine Bank and Trust, O'Donnell Impact Windows and Storm Protection, Bottom's Up Public House, Sailfish Insurance Group, Braswell Bail Bonds, St. Lucie County, NisAir, and Arrow Title Services."
