TORONTO - Oct. 8, 2019 - Bloomex will return as one of the official sponsors of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (@TOwaterfront42k) by providing all flowers for race needs on October 20, 2019. Bloomex will provide award bouquets for all winners and finalists as well as centrepieces to enhance the VIP tent. Bloomex will also create centrepieces for the official press conference held at Enercare Centre on October 18.

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon is the largest of the Canada Running Series events and takes place in the heart of Canada's largest city. The weekend attracts more than 26,000 athletes, with participants from over 75 countries, in the full marathon, half-marathon, and 5K events.
This year's Marathon IAAF Gold Label race will serve as the trials for the Canadian team at Tokyo 2020. Rory Linkletter and Evan Esselink as young Canadians will face a world class field including three Canadian Olympians, Reid Coolsaet, Dylan Wykes and Cam Levins.
The Toronto Waterfront Marathon is also a popular Boston Marathon qualifying event. Philemon Rono has won the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon twice and run the fastest time ever run on Canadian soil – 2:06:52. He will go for a third victory at the 2019 edition. The race also encourages people to raise money for a charity of their choice through the Scotiabank Charity Challenge.
