Kitchen Safety Fire Prevention Family Protection New FireRanger Product Launched

A new fire safety product has launched called FireRanger. It connects to the owner's kitchen range and if they leave something on the stove and forget about it, rather than causing a fire, the product will cut off the power and stop the fire before it ignites. Cutting power in this way has the potential to save millions in needless property damage, and also drastically reduce deaths and injuries from cooking fires.

More information, along with stats and figures, are provided at: https://firerangersafety.com.

The site explains that whether homeowners are young or old, unattended cooking fires are a global concern. It goes on to say that the kitchen is the most dangerous room in the house, with most fires caused by unattended cookware being left on by people being distracted or forgetful.

FireRanger underscores that every year in North America alone there are approximately 160,000 kitchen fires that account for 1.3 billion dollars in damages, 5,000 injuries and 400 deaths.

The FireRanger product was designed to combat these high statistics, by detecting smoke before fire occurs and shutting off the power to the electric range, preventing destruction, damage and death.

On the FireRanger site, interested parties can discover how the product is easy to install, with wireless technology and a keypad that allows the user to program a four-digit lock out code preventing the range from being turned on without proper supervision. This feature was designed to help keep elderly and young family members safe in the home.

FireRanger also has a panic and reset button that allows the user to shut the range off from a safe distance in the event of an emergency, helping to create a sense of calm when dealing with dangerous situations.

Scott Kelly, the president of Marsco Technologies Inc and the inventor of FireRanger, said: "While I was performing renovations to an assisted living senior's complex a few years ago, two small stovetop cooking fires occurred within days of each other that caused significant damage. It was then that I knew that we had to find a solution to this ever increasing problem. I'm happy to say that we have created a product that will reduce property loss, injuries, and fire related deaths."
