Sedona Method iRelease App Helps with Depression, Stress & Anxiety This Holiday

Sedona Releasing Worldwide has just announced the launch of a free iOS app called iRelease, a guided meditation application for smart phones and tablets designed to help relieve stress and other negative emotions instantly. iRelease is now available for download just in time for the holidays, a season that traditionally brings an onslaught of emotions in addition to "good cheer."

Based on a simple technique called The Sedona Method , the app aims to help people free themselves from or "release" unwanted thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior such as the stress caused by holiday shopping and preparations, financial concerns, family difficulties, seasonal depression, overeating and other indulgences, the grief over the loss of a loved one and more.

[Download iRelease on the iTunes App Store now. It's free.](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/irelease-guided-meditation/id1021947381?ls=1&mt=8)

The app was created by Sedona Method Licensed Instructors Annrika James and Tim McCavitt who have been teaching and coaching the techniques on the app through workshops, private sessions and live seminars worldwide since 1978. For many years they were mentored by and worked with Lester Levenson, the inspiration behind The Sedona Method.

Tim McCavitt, who developed the project, says: €œThe app can help everyone who uses it have a happier holiday season. It will help you let go of feelings like frustration, anger, sadness and fear€”anything that could cause trouble€”and keep your holidays running smoothly and joyfully."

The releasing meditations in the app address emotional stuck points for many people: getting going in the morning, dealing with anxiety, and handling stress. Eight additional free tracks are also available. They include releases on letting go of the negative emotions that arise while trying to achieve goals, support health, create wealth and have mutual relationships; accepting things as they are; dealing with addictions; letting go of resistance; and getting a good night's sleep.

The 3-6 minute releases provide convenient, easy listening for rejuvenating breaks throughout the day and can be looped for continuous play. Releases can be accompanied by the Lotus Breath Pacer, an animated flower design inspired by Annrika James, that opens and closes to guide the user's breath in a natural rhythm and focus attention on the releasing process.

A client from Rio de Janeiro commented, €œI've been able to release cravings for certain foods, and am able to fall asleep without the aid of pills."

James and McCavitt say that iRelease was created to provide releasing help and guidance to as many people as possible. "There are a lot of people out there who are suffering as a result of their own negative emotions and emotionally-based issues and here is this simple, elegant, effective technique that can help them. It just seemed natural to extend that assistance to as many people as possible, to support them in uncovering their natural courageousness, inner strength, and well-being," said Annrika James.

The Sedona Method is a scientifcally-proven technique for releasing negative emotions that's been used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world for over 40 years to let go of feelings of frustration, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, self-doubt, confusion, stress and grief, and to experience the emotional and mental freedom needed to make positive life changes.
