Guest Speaker: Kevin Wagner, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Political Science at Florida Atlantic University

+ Topic: A pre-election analysis of campaign advertising and current poll results

+ Background: Dr. Wagner's research areas include media and politics, American political thought, and understanding political change in democratic systems including the shifts caused by technology and the Internet. He has been cited in The New York Times and The Boston Globe, been featured as a political analyst on national television, and is currently completing a book, Click and Reboot: How the Internet is Revolutionizing American Politics.

+ Note: LWVPBC's Hot Topic Discussions are held on the third Wednesday of each month. A follow-up, post-election discussion with Dr. Wagner is scheduled for January 20, 2021.
