Launches LAMBORGHINI tractor & introduces new DEUTZ-FAHR 35-45 HP tractor range
Pune/New Delhi/Chennai, December 12th, 2013: Italian tractor major SDF Group which has been manufacturing their world renowned line of tractors at their Ranipet plant, near Chennai for the past many years, has many new exciting offerings for the Indian market. SDF India, which had been primarily exporting these tractors, including the famed LAMBORGHINI line all over the world, will now be focusing much more substantially on the Indian market.
Amongst the slew of announcements that the company management chose to make for Indian market on the sidelines of the KISAN agricultural fair currently underway in Pune, are the launch of the LAMBORGHINI tractor, the introduction of the new 35-45 HP range of DEUTZ-FAHR tractors and the eventual introduction of the big tractors in 100 HP range.
Says Bhanu Sharma, Managing Director and CEO, “The beautiful and iconic Lamborghini tractor is targeted at affluent farmers, golf courses, vine yards and luxury resorts. On the other hand, the introduction of our new 35-45 HP range in 2014, which is the most popular configuration pertaining to tractors in India, will complete our entire product range in this market . We will follow this up with the launch of the 100 HP range category, in which we have always excelled globally.”
The reason behind the management’s enthusiastic approach regarding these products, is their sheer pedigree and engineering excellence. All of their tractors are equipped with powerful fuel efficient engines , forced feed lubrication transmission, fully synchromesh gear-box, hydraulically actuated oil immersed disc brakes, fully sealed for water proofing, planetary reduction and the highest PTO power in their respective categories, giving them a distinct technological edge over their competition.
The SDF Group Executive Director Franco Artoni’s message on this occasion “India is a big focus for SDF Group and we have high hopes from this growing market, and hence investing now a lot for making our presence felt here”.
