Likewise, he manages 130 employees and maintains the service fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. Previously, Mr. Connelly worked as the division manager for American Fire Protection Group branches in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Nashville, Tennessee.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Connelly gained valuable expertise in the field as a shop manager for C.R. England, where he maintained responsibility for 50-plus employees, fostered a team environment that reduced errors and repaired down equipment by 15 percent, and reduced dwell times. Similarly, he has contributed to his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, through which he served as a logistics officer, company commander, executive officer, motor transportation platoon commander, and landing support platoon commander.
Driven to contribute to his community, Mr. Connelly raised money for the youth of Texas and was a part of the Lamb & Goat Auction Committee for the Houston Livestock Rodeo Show. In order to stay abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals, the Building Owners and Managers Association, and the Professional Organization for Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate. An expert in his field, Mr. Connelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communication from Central Michigan University, an executive MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, and several Six Sigma belts.
In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Connelly received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from the Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 and the R4OG and a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his ability to build a robust team, which will maintain itself after he is gone. The cornerstone of his success lay in his drive and surrounding himself with great mentors. In the coming years, Mr. Connelly aims to focus on a growth strategy for Allied Fire Protection.
