RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 7, 2020 - N.K.M. Records announces the Raleigh, NC, Singer/Songwriter has won multiple awards at the 6th annual Josie Music Awards held this past weekend at the Country Tonight Theater, in Pidgeon Forge, TN.
Receiving nominations in four categories, Nicki took home the coveted Josie Music Award "The Josie" in the following categories:
Vocalist of the Year - Pop/Contemporary
Song of the Year - Pop/Contemporary - "Everything I Do, I Do For You" - Songwriters: Nicki Kris/Kevin McNoldy
Both wins were a complete surprise to Nicki who was extremely honored just to have been nominated. "I never thought I win one, let alone two awards," Nicki said during her Vocalist of the Year acceptance speech. "All I can say is, Thank You!"
The Raleigh, Singer/Songwriter has been on a high as of late, climbing to the top of the iTunes Charts in both the US and UK as well as, a top 10 on the Billboard Blues Charts with a collaboration project, Devil Is Back, by Oliver Sean. Nicki will also start hosting her own Radio Show, "Mixing It" beginning on Sept 14th on Word Of Mom Radio and has a single coming out in October.
