VIEUX FORT, Saint Lucia - Aug. 24, 2020 - St. Lucia based conscious/inspirational reggae singer-songwriter and producer Kingdom Soldier (Lenny Deneb) is in the process of releasing his third album, The Watchman due out on September 1, 2020. A follow-up to Solidarity, the new release offers protest songs, songs of encouragement, motivational and rock-tinged ruminations that mine a touching, that question the status quo of this troubled world, supported with roots-rock reggae melodies and fearless forthright lyrics about political crisis, unemployment, poverty and religion to name but a few.
Kingdom Soldier delivers his songs in the spiritually inspired styles of artists such as Bob Marley, Steel Pulse and Peter Tosh. "Under Your Wings", "Train to Zion", "Murderers, Gangsters and Thieves", "Love of the Most High" and others – presents the unmistakable influence of diverse and varied world-musical styles.
With a history and foundation in the UK's 70's reggae music movement with his band Cygnus, signed to Greensleeves Records, backing John Holt, Errol Dunkley, supported Tappa Zukie, touring Europe and Scandinavia and appearing with The Cimarons and Jimmy Cliff; while in the late eighties and nineties the artist released a number of roots reggae tracks, the most popular of which 'Soldiers' is now a sought after collector's song, it is fair to say that this artist have earned his dues.

With the exception of the rock-influenced lead guitar on songs like "Futureless Children", "Under Your Wings" and "Where will you go from here?" played by Junior Etienne; the rap vocals on "Lift your hands up" by Odafe and co-written with Odafe, and the background vocals by Lateefah and Cola, the album was written, played, engineered and mastered by Lenny Deneb over a period of 3 years.
The Watchman album is without doubt political in nature, but it also displays the artist' love for humanity and echoes the current cry for justice.
