Hispanic Star Miami wraps up its successful Month of Action Campaign for Health Heroes by distributing hot meals to healthcare heroes at five hospitals in South Florida prepared by a local restaurant
June 11, 2020 Miami, FL – The Hispanic Star Miami "Month of Action Campaign" for Health Heroes was successful in surpassing its fundraising goals. The Month of Action Campaign will culminate by providing hot meals to healthcare workers at five hospitals in South Florida prepared by a local restaurant who will benefit from the funds that were raised.
"We would like to thank all of the people and organizations that donated money and resources to the Hispanic Star Miami campaign to celebrate and honor our healthcare workers while also supporting small businesses in South Florida. With their help we were able to surpass our fundraising goals and will be delivering hot meals and vital equipment to healthcare workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Florida. Our two-fold campaign allows us to also benefit a small mom and pop restaurant in the community which will prepare the meals," stated Carolina Veira, Director of Finance, IMC and Chairperson, Hispanic Star Miami
