Rodrick Roc was born in Ahoskie, North Carolina, and raised in Kelford, NC with his mother. At a young age, he used dancing to bring about his emotions and learned to express his feelings in the form of writing. While chasing his lifelong dream of creating motivational music, he graduated high school; received his college degree; and joined the United States Army serving 2 consecutive terms.
