The NETRONIC 19.2 firmware made the Battle Royale mode available, and also opened up new possibilities for using the headband and multistation scenario device for outdoor laser tag.

New modes for the NETRONIC headband
It was possible to play laser tag using the NETRONIC headband as a separate device before (firmware 19.1), with the release of 19.2 two new modes became available: Frontier and Activator.

The Frontier mode
The Frontier mode will allow you to play laser tag even alone, this feature is especially popular among players who want to master their laser gun shooting skills, or who visit the laser tag on their own, without any company. The essence of the frontier mode is to go through the passage of obstacles as fast as possible. NETRONIC headbands are used as obstacles, (with the frontier mode enabled) they are stretched between two posts. In this mode, the headband has 100 health points, and it deactivates the player if he approaches the headband at a distance of 1 meter. You can change the number of shots needed to deactivate the headband by reducing or increasing the damage of the lasergun.


The Frontier mode will allow you to conduct the game even for one visitor, or arrange team relay race.

The Activator mode
The player can play as an activator, using only a headband for this. In this mode, the headband respawns all the deactivated players every 10 seconds within a radius of 1 meter. Thus, the player can bring back deactivated allies to the game. Using this mode, you can create new variable scenarios even without using scenario devices. If none of the players wants to put the laser gun aside and take on the role of the activator, the instructor or his assistant can handle this.

The new bomb mode
Creating a new bomb mode for the MULTISTATION scenario device, Lasertag.net experts focused on the bombs from popular online games. A new bomb must be planted, as well as defused, this is done through a certain number of shots (you specify the parameter in the software). After one of the teams plants the bomb, the timer will start the countdown and if it is not defused it will explode deactivating all the players on the ground or the damage area of the scenario device.

This logic of bombing is familiar to all the people who have played Counter Strike.
