No one has planned for the journalist to become involved in anything but the dry history of this family concern fighting to hold its corner in the multi-billion dollar energy drink industry, but events overtake them all; a terrible accident on the bottling line, a hostile overseas takeover bid, shadowy international forces vying for control, and the death of the company president in a mysterious explosion in the research laboratory.
With his impeccable sense of the absurd, Pilcher gives this struggling family firm the game-changer it needs to survive, but does it in such a way that they must do everything in their power to avoid using it.
