SEATTLE - Sept. 17, 2019 - Asa Palagi and Joshua Harris, 25 and 26 years old respectively, create a 5 million dollar security firm in less than 18 months.
Mr. Palagi and Mr. Harris are military veterans with a vision. The two used their military experience to go into the private sector where their wits and hard work turned them a large profit in the state of Washington.
The founders of Cascadia Global Security received their first contract in mid 2018. As of September 2019, the company has been valued at just over 5 million US. The two claim this is an under evaluation due to being a new company.
Seattle has an obvious homelessness problem as well as rifts between the local government (City Council) and law enforcement. CGS capitalized on this rift at the right time, providing a much needed service to other local companies. Patrons do not feel safe and businesses are having to shutdown due to the homelessness crisis. The company is now expanding at a massive rate and is set to be the largest security firm on the west coast by 2021, servicing the states of Washginton, Oregon, and California.
