NEW YORK - Aug. 11, 2019 - Hullabaloo Book Company, a hybrid online bookstore/gift shop will host its official launch of its website and gifts on August 21st, 2019 in New York City, NY. The press and public are invited to join us as we celebrate the grand opening and meet the owners Hollis Scarborough Rodriguez and Blaine McKee. The event is sponsored by The Botanist Gin and Strega Flora, and will feature the new release 'How To Raise A Reader', by New York Times Book Review editors Pamela Paul & Maria Russo.
Blaine and Hollis work with publishers, editors, and avid readers to find new and exciting, heirloom quality, culturally relevant books. Then their Family Reader Panel reads those books to their children and classrooms and reports back on the response, age appropriateness, and overall quality and message of each. They want their curated collection to be filled with books that will be loved for generations and held in your families for years as personalized memories even once your children outgrow the books.
The launch will begin promptly at 6pm at the Hidden Bar at The Eventi Hotel located at 851 6thAve, NY, NY 10001. The event will include signature cocktails and canapes, customized swag bags, and cute photo opps with attendees and our event hosts.
