Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Thoothukudi Chapter has organized a workshop on “Opportunity in Exporting for the development of MSME’s in South” on 01.10.2015 at Thoothukudi.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr D Senthil Kannan, Vice Chairman - CII Thoothukudi Chapter & Chief Executive Officer - Dharani Export-Import Services (P) Limited.
Mr RR Padmanabhan, Principal Consultant from Exim Consultants, Chennai addressed the gathering about the export opportunities for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) in South Tamil Nadu. He gave an explicit understanding of the export business with reference to the categories and types of exports and brought into light the success mantra of the business. Pointing out to the fact of great potential for industrial growth in building Madurai and Thoothukudi Industrial Corridor, he said it would later rise imminent opportunities for MSME’s in the south after its development. He also said that the wide range of benefits for the exporters that Government export policy and procedures can provide will fillip the industrial development of the State. More than fifteen companies in and around Tuticorin like Sterlite Copper, Spic etc. were participated from this workshop.
