On October 9, 2015, supporters of Upstate New York’s venture ecosystem will come together at the elegant Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY for the first annual Upstate Venture Ecosystem Awards! The Magical Mentor Award recognizes individuals who have had a transformative impact on the trajectory of one or more startup companies.

UVC and Upstate Venture Association of NY (http://www.uvany.org/) invite you to recognize and celebrate entrepreneurial leaders who are shaping a new economy for our region. Serial entrepreneur and Priceline.com cofounder Jeff Hoffman (http://uvc.org/people/serial-entrepreneur-jeff-hoffman-believes-in-paying-it-forward/) will keynote the luncheon. Over a hundred nominations were submitted and winners will be announced at the luncheon on October 9.

The EDA Labs Program builds acceleration strategies for companies and adds a tactical team to the existing staff to create inbound traffic, generate revenue and build sustainable efficiencies and scale. Jill Daye of In Focus Brands adds; “Bob has led this initiative from its inception with all the passion, energy, warmth and servant leadership that his staff, teams and clients have come to know for the last 20 years. His style is magical and empowering just like the culture here at IFB.”
