BANGALORE, India -- DriveBy Labs has released OffRoad Thrills for Android as part of the Bangalore OffRoad Drivers Association (B.O.D.A) initiative to make 4x4 off-road -- one of the fastest growing adventure motorsport -- accessible for everyone in India.
4x4 off-road is one of the fastest growing adventure motorsport in the country and there is a need for people to understand more and learn different aspects of off-road -- such as safety, vehicle modifications, off-road driving styles in concise and easy to understand manner at one place on a mobile device.
OffRoad Thrills provides users with quick tips on off-road basics, 4x4 technology, off-road driving, modifications & recovery. There is a section with hand-picked off-road videos to learn about various off-road aspects. Users can view listing of prominent 4x4 clubs across India and join them; view calendar of popular off-road events and last but not the least, the app also features listing of prominent off-road modifiers/garages, accessories & equipment suppliers for off-roaders to modify and prepare their 4x4 vehicles for off-road.

Most members have echoed our belief at B.O.D.A for the need of such a mobile app to spread awareness on different aspects of off-road", said Shahnawaz Khan, a veteran off-roader and the person behind the OffRoad Thrills app. "That the app made its way to the top 100 free apps on android play store, in sports category, within a week of its launch is a testimony on how well the app has been received by users" added Vijay Kumar, chairman of B.O.D.A.
OffRoad Thrills is now available for FREE download worldwide on the Android Play Store and an iPhone version is planned later. Perfect timing for the app as the off-road season in India is about to start with the advent of monsoon season and prominent competitive off-road events being planned in the next few months.
