For the Norsemen of Augusteum’s football team, the famed season of 1967 would become a rather remarkable one—a memorable time that would play over and over in their minds for decades to come.

Jeff Brooks was born and raised in Erie, PA and graduated from Thiel College located in Greenville, PA with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He is a third-generation veteran, having served a stateside tour in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He is an avid reader of all types of literature and is a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He has two sons and two grandchildren and currently resides in Winston-Salem, NC with his wife, Barb, and their cat, Max.
