GREATER LONDON, U.K. -- Everyone finds tangled headphones a menace – caught in knots that take minutes to untie every time you want to use your phone. Years of broken headphones and frustration led the Caselace team to come up with a design that didn’t require any add-ons that make your phone bulky or fiddly bits that require a degree to use.

When headphones are wrapped around the Caselace phone case they are held in place with a simple, effective design that stops them from getting tangled, enabling you to wrap and store your headphones without even thinking about it.

“Over the years I’ve watched people on trains and buses grappling with knotted headphones,” says one of the founders Fabian Redpath. “The Caselace phone case provides a simple, effective solution to an everyday frustration. Like all good design, when you see it, it seems glaringly obvious.”

Design Director Phil Champ says “good design should be attractive as well as functional. We took some great ideas, made them work and made the Caselace beautiful.”

Caselace has just launched on Kickstarter in a range of colours for the iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 6, iPod touch 4, and Samsung Galaxy S5.

The Caselace comes with a recess in the back for customisation with a range of panels, including a solid silver panel hallmarked with a unique Kickstarter/Caselace sponsor’s mark and which can be personalised with an engraving.
