“ALPHA WARRIORS – TARGET: EARTH” is the first of a planned series of novellas featuring Earth’s newest heroes, the Alpha Warriors. Aimed primarily at eight to twelve year-olds, Alpha Warriors are a team of superheroes from the planet Caduceus, charged with defeating the evil empire of the greatest ex-Warrior of all time, Lord Oberon, and stopping his forces from invading planet Earth. In this, their debut adventure, Alpha Warriors repel Oberon’s first attempt at invasion but jeopardize the safety of New York City in the process. And when a little girl’s curiosity gets the better of her, they must make the ultimate sacrifice to save both Earth and the girl.

LONDON, December 2014 – “ALPHA WARRIORS” is the creation of first-time writer Neil P. Simpson. Initially conceived as an animated, action/ adventure children’s television project and developed with enough storylines for two full series of 22-minute episodes, he began adapting his scripts into novellas in the summer of 2014. Each story is planned to weigh in at around 30,000 words. The second Alpha Warriors story, ‘Electrical Storm’, will be released on February 20th 2015 and will be followed by a further three 2015 releases and seven more in 2016/17.

The stories take place in a variety of interplanetary locations as well as around Earth, as Oberon has planted human sleeper agents in every major town and city. As they showcase their talents and powers, the Alpha Warriors must race against time to stop the agents wreaking their havoc in the name of Oberon.
