RE/MAX Platinum Realty Agents Donate to Toys for Tots

SARASOTA, Fla. -- RE/MAX Platinum Realty agents and staff have selected Toys for Tots as the recipient of their giving program for the 2014 holiday season.

All five RE/MAX Platinum Realty offices in Sarasota and Manatee counties are collection centers for people to drop off new, unwrapped toys, books and other gifts to be distributed to less fortunate children in the community. Employees also brought toys to the RE/MAX Platinum Realty holiday party.

Toys for Tots, a 67-year-old national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 6.8 million children in 762 communities nationwide. Since 1947, more than 223 million children have been assisted.

"Participating in Toys for Tots is a heart-warming way to give back to the community," said Bryan Guentner, Broker-Owner. "It is an easy way to give children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime." For more information about Toys for Tots, please visit www.toysfortots.org.
