Those who feel anxious with needles are encouraged to take oral sedation or nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide patients do not require transportation. IV sedation is invasive sedation, which is very effective and keeps the patients calm, relaxed and conscious during the entire treatment. The most significant benefit of IV sedation is the patients won’t remember any sounds or smells once the sedation wears off. These patients require transportation to and from their treatment.
