NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) Mr. Anil Valluri, President, India and SAARC Operations, NetApp Marketing and Services Pvt. Ltd inaugurated NetApp’s annual mega event ‘NetApp Sports Habba’ at the St John’s Ground, Koramangala by lighting the victory lamp.
Speaking on the occasion he said, “I am delighted to see the energy and excitement of the teams here. NetApp organizes this annual event to acknowledge and thank employees for their significant contributions to the company’s success. The highlight of the inauguration ceremony was Kalarippayattu - an Indian martial art. The agility, alertness and focus displayed through this performance set the context of the event as sports by their very nature demand all three in equal measure from the players. And NetApp employees lived up to it. The energy and excitement flowed in abundance. The team names - Red Rhinos, Black Jaguars, Orange Tigers, Blue Sharks, Yellow Cheetahs, Green Vipers, Grey Tuskers and White Stallions - that exuded raw power seemed to have caught on the teams! As the employees sweated out on the field, the families and children cheered and clapped in unison.
Food stalls and fun activities like Tug of war, Lemon in spoon, Sack race for children made it an all - inclusive event.
