After many years away from the comedy scene James will be making a huge splash in the comedy pool this coming year. Not only will he be making a much anticipated return to the stage but the release of his new book,The View From This Side of Crazy" coming this spring.

He has performed on the pro-am stage in clubs throughout Canada and Los Angeles; he enjoys making the crowd laugh as much as the crowd enjoys laughing at him. Normally this would be offensive to be laughed at but for a comedian, it is a sign of a great show.

When asked about his worst experience on stage he recalls the time he appeared at a famous club in West Hollywood. The crowd was cold and not giving much to the comedians on stage before him. This was a tense time in the LA area as the Rodney King civil verdict was about to come in. After about a minute and a half (the longest of his life on stage he adds) there were a few hecklers in the crowd. With quick wit and an intelligent report he started firing back at the hecklers with some great one-liners. The crowd started to laugh and loosen up. "I had been working on some new material about the LAPD and other social issues at that time. I decided that even though it was still rough material, it could not be any worse than what was already happening. So I decided to try out the new material and jump in with two feet. Luckily the crowd loved the material and it turned that room right around. I ended up being one of my best stand-up shows ever" James stated.

James is recording a new audio show for downloading online. He is also submitting to host and emcee or perform at various shows and festivals this year in addition to appearances in clubs and corporate events.
