LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Sheri Fink, best-selling and award-winning children’s author of the books The Little Rose, The Little Gnome, Exploring the Garden with the Little Rose, and The Little Firefly, has been nominated for the 2013 Extraordinary Inspiration Award as a result of her long-lasting commitment to spreading inspirational messages of hope and self-esteem through her books, moving life story, and her brand, The Whimsical World of Sheri Fink.

The 2013 Willow Tree Extraordinary Awards, a ceremony that will mark Willow Tree Women’s Circle’s third anniversary, will take place on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013, in Fullerton, California. The event, hosted by Willow Tree Women’s Circle, an organization focused on bringing women together in an effort to encourage support and positivity to women in Los Angeles and Orange County, will completely benefit the Women Empowered Foundation. The Willow Tree Extraordinary Awards will be announced live following the Finding Me, Impacting We Retreat.
Fink will speak on the timely topic of “Embracing your Inner Child” at the women-centered retreat. Other speakers include Kim Somers Egelsee, Susie Augustin, Laura Jane, Sylvia Paoreo, Justine Arian, and Monick Paul Helm.
