Celebrate Hallowe'en in the Spirit of the Naughty, Bawdy 1890s at Don't Tell Mama in New York City

NEW YORK, NY — — Join us on Sunday evening, October 27, 2013 when "Diamond Lil" is onstage and a stylish turn-of-the-century Costume Parade will follow.
Don't Tell Mama, the iconic cabaret set in a 19th century townhouse, is the ideal setting for this hilarious melodrama of the Bowery underworld, starring Darlene Violette in the title role, and featuring a colorful audience who will strut around the room in corsets, mermaid skirts, ballgowns, Moulin Rouge finery, can-can dancer chic, bowties, suspenders, derbies, and all.
Judges will select the best costumes and award prizes. Dress to impress and go home with a certificate for dinner-for-two, coupons for gifts at local jewelers, and gay apparel with an 1890s vibe such as bowties, garters, bustiers, and fishnet gloves.
