WAKEFIELD, U.K. -- Andrew Hollick, from Ellington in Cambridgeshire, left his previous careers as an RAF officer and a Detective Inspector of the Herts Constabulary behind him to take control of his own destiny by re-training with Brookhouse Training to become a gas engineer.
“I wanted to be in control of my working day and have variety. I started to research gas training establishments and came across Brookhouse Training in Yorkshire. I liked the feel and content of the course they provided, the tutors were extremely knowledgeable, and the staff were extremely friendly; the learning environment looked good too.” Says Andrew
Andrew’s career has certainly been varied but his management knowledge and skills accrued provided him that all important discipline and self-motivation needed to completely change direction and re-train to become a gas engineer.
Since qualifying Andrew has set-up his own business and now runs Apex Heating Services. Andrew describes his company as a traditional tradesman company, taking care of all gas, oil and water installations providing comprehensive advice and high-quality professional work and service.
“I have great pride in the loyalty of my customers and this is what motivates me continuously to move forward and develop the company. I have a lot of work in the pipeline and a new development within the commercial gas sector. I am indebted to tutors Chris and Gerry for their fantastic gas instruction. Since being qualified I haven’t looked back.”
