STANTON, Calif. -- New Orleans native Kevin Jones, CEO of KJE, Inc. and the creator of the program Business In A Bucket has recently formed Business In A Bucket Institute - B.I.B.I., a nonprofit organization that works to develop entrepreneurial young leaders that are highly interested and engaged in advocating youth preparedness in entrepreneurship. The organization is geared in hopes of empowering young teens to make effective and positive business choices, to learn about business and to be self-sufficient. The organization indicates bye-bye to poverty, drugs, gangs, violence, underachievement woes, unemployment rates and all those things that hinder a community, as well as for youth to flourish in their life.
“We’re excited about helping the young teens beat the odds and are very enthused to empower and bring our leadership to our youth and inner-city residents. Young people are capable of playing an important role in the business community and have the unique potential to help their communities to be effective,” says Kevin Jones.
The first half of the day Business in a Bucket Institute - BiBi will begin the morning with classroom instruction. Mr. Dumas Martin of TheIdeaClub.com will empower the youth about copyrights, trademark and business initiatives to the youth. Martha of Detailing .com will teach the youth about the entrepreneur involvement and what it consists of, such as marketing and accounting. A light breakfast in the morning and lunch at 12 CST will be provided as well. A live DJ, OtegaRene’, will provide entertainment, to add fun to the day and help keep the students attention. The afternoon will be hands on detailing instructions by Detailing.com as well as bringing in some local detailers to give testimonials.
Business In A Bucket Institute - B.I.B.I. is looking for people or organizations to donate to the institute for future classes. The program is looking to hold a class size with approximately 30-40 students. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the day and a grab bag of car care products.
