FDI Financial Diagnostics Inc. (FDI) announces a Labour Day weekend launch August 26th date of their online and in print consumer magazine FinanceWorks.ca Quarterly.

"It's taken a year and a half but the magazine has evolved, developing a unique identity and is ready for a re-launch." says FDI president Bryan Dar Santos.

The magazine deals with issues well beyond what its namesake. FDI considers any issue that affects how much money a person has or their ability to earn it is fair game for article topics. Some of the non-hardcore financial issues already covered include a comparison between flying Air Canada and WestJet, determining whether McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets or McBites are a better deal or which bank offers the best chequing account.

In its second year of publishing there has already been several major changes including publishing four times per year instead of monthly and changing its name to “Quarterly”. FDI promises even more changes before the re-launch such as new writers and a revamped website.

FDI says that the site will be more interactive with visitors having a sense of reading a magazine when they view the site.

Unger Design, a local web design company who was also does the design and layout of the magazine will be taking the lead on the site’s redesign. "We were really pleased with what Unger Design did with the magazine and felt it was only appropriate to ask them to build the website with the same feel as the magazine.” The new site is expected to be up and running shortly before the re-launch.
