Raw Snacks Explains the Science and the Benefits of Eating Dehydrated Raw Foods

One study found that when food is cooked to 120 degrees C or higher, a compound called acrylamide is formed. This is a neurotoxin and sufficiently high doses of this compound can affect reproduction and even cause cancer. Food that is roasted, baked, or fried can contain acrylamide. This includes foods such as bakery products, french fries, crisp breads, potato crisps, and biscuits. This compound is formed because of a chemical reaction between amino acids and sugars. No such thing happens when you dehydrate food.

Many people in the Western world have impaired digestion because of low fiber content in their food. They also have problems in absorbing nutrients properly. These conditions can be self corrected when the causes are eliminated, that is the ingestion of cooked, high fat and processed foods.
