After much fan anticipation up-and-coming artist Jamie Charoen releases her debut single “Puppeteer” on iTunes hoping to top pop music charts globally with this new hit.
The single produced under Da Internz’ musical guidance is meant to be an inspirational song and provide hope to anyone who feels trapped in a hard life.
“If you think that something is worth it or something just makes you happy, or smile that’s worth going for, that’s worth living for,” says Charoen. “So never back down on your dreams and always follow what your heart tells you to do.”
Charoen transcend the bounds of music and reach out to her ever-growing fan base with songs like Puppeteer whose lyrics have deep and powerful lyrics.
“The difference between an artist and a person who actually changes another person’s life through music is how you impact a person when they hear your lyrics even before all the fluff goes into the music. Just the raw material, the raw lyrics,” explains Charoen. “Just that type of impact in itself before anything else defines an artist from just someone who is out there singing with a microphone.”
Charoen, whose passion for music started when she was just two years old growing up in Bangkok, Thailand continued to pursue her dream of becoming a singer once she arrived in America. Being an eight-year-old who just arrived from another country and coming from family with humble means initially posed challenges to her musical career, but he musical talent was soon discovered by her teachers in school who pushed her to be active in the school’s choir.
From a shy school to being a young up-and-coming artist with a fan base that ranges from pre-teens to young adults, Charoen has come a long way. And through her songs she encourages fans to do the same. To focus on the goal instead of the hard journey that it will take to get there.
